Saturday January 24 was the big day: Pinewood Derby Day! It was a downright chilly and windy day outside, as families were huddled together under the giant picnic ramada at Tumbleweed Park. Despite the fact that everyone had the shivers, the race went on! Daniel and Benjamin did great . . . racing the cars that they had designed all by themselves. No official prizes were won by our boys, but they received something even better--the joy that comes from being great sports! And, they had a ton of fun, too!
